Every Laboring Mother Deserves A Doula
I'm Kasey, I am a Birth Doula, Training at Birth Arts International. I only have a few requirements left until I complete my certification. As a BAI Doula, I have done hours of reading, research and courses to learn as much as I possibly can, to benefit you and your family. BAI Doula's are specifically trained in confidentiality, So you can be sure that all of your information is kept private.
Statistics show having a Doula can provide:
- 50% reduction in cesarean rates
- 25% shorter labor
- 60% reduction in epidural requests
- 40% reduction in oxytocin (pitocin) use
- 30% reduction in analgesia use
- 40% reduction in forceps delivery*
Women who choose to breastfeed deserve unified support from other breastfeeding mamas, organizations, professionals and helpful friends. The ultimate goal is to have a happy, healthy mama and a happy, healthy — well-fed — baby.
I am a OSD Doula. I volunteer my services to Military families for the families who have lost spouses or are currently deployed. These services are completely free of charge.
